Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 yellow onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Let pork chops sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside about 2 tablespoons of the glaze for brushing later.
  3. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Place them on the sheet pan and brush both sides with the honey garlic glaze.
  4. In a separate bowl, toss broccoli florets, bell pepper strips, and onion wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread them around the pork chops on the sheet pan in a single layer.
  5. Roast for 20 minutes. After 10 minutes, flip the pork chops using tongs and stir the vegetables.
  6. After flipping, brush the pork chops with the reserved honey garlic glaze.
  7. Check the internal temperature of the pork chops with a meat thermometer; it should reach 145°F (63°C). If needed, roast for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Remove the sheet pan from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes, loosely covered with foil.

Notes

For best results, use bone-in pork chops about 1-inch thick. If using boneless chops, reduce cooking time by about 5 minutes. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving to keep them moist. Line the sheet pan with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup. Keep an eye on the glaze during the last 5 minutes to prevent burning; tent with foil if needed.
