A quick and easy no-bake dessert featuring creamy layers, fresh strawberries and blueberries arranged in a patriotic flag pattern, perfect for summer parties and celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (300 g) fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup (150 g) fresh blueberries
  • Optional: 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups (150 g) graham cracker crumbs (about 1012 whole crackers crushed)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Prepare the graham cracker crust: In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Stir until evenly coated and press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form an even layer. Set aside.
  2. Make the creamy base: Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  3. Whip the heavy cream in a separate chilled bowl until stiff peaks form, about 3-4 minutes on medium-high speed.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined and fluffy.
  5. Layer the dessert: Spread half the creamy mixture over the graham cracker crust. Arrange sliced strawberries in a stripe along one side of the dish, covering about one-third of the length. Use remaining strawberries and blueberries to create the flag pattern on top, alternating rows or blocks with white space from the creamy b…
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to let layers set and flavors meld.
  7. Slice into squares ensuring each piece has berries and creamy layers. Serve chilled.

Notes

Use cold heavy cream and chilled bowl for best whipping results. Soften cream cheese ahead of time for smooth mixing. Toss berries lightly with cornstarch to prevent sogginess. For gluten-free, substitute graham crackers with gluten-free cookies or nuts. For dairy-free, use coconut whipped cream and dairy-free cream cheese. Chilling overnight improves flavor and texture.
