Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until crumbs are evenly coated and look like wet sand. Press mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Smooth and compact the crust using the bottom of a glass. Refrigerate crust while preparing filling.
  2. Make the cheesecake filling: Beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well. In a separate chilled bowl, whip cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Combine and fold: Gently fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture using a spatula, keeping it light and fluffy.
  4. Assemble the cheesecake: Pour filling over chilled crust and spread evenly. Smooth the top.
  5. Decorate the flag: Arrange blueberries in the upper left corner to represent stars. Create red stripes by laying sliced strawberries in horizontal rows across the rest of the cheesecake.
  6. Chill and set: Cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to firm up.
